Ibis Budget Basel City ★★
"The hotel is conveniently located, just a 10-minute tram ride from Basel station. Although it's next to the railway tracks, it was surprisingly quiet and I had a comfortable stay."
Hotel Märthof Basel ★★★★
"This hotel is in a great location. The surroundings are nice. The staff were very helpful, and the room had a Type-C charger, which was great."
B&B Hotel Basel ★★★
"We had a very pleasant stay at this family-friendly hotel with a well-organized atmosphere and exceptionally kind staff. The hotel fully met our expectations. The tram stop right in front of the hotel made transportation extremely convenient, and its location was also very close to the city center. Thank you for the two wonderful days. If we visit Basel again, this hotel will definitely be our first choice."
Hotel Euler Basel ★★★★
"Excellent location right by the train station. Comfortable room and good breakfast."
HYPERION Basel ★★★★
"Great view, but the room was a bit small and noisy."
Gaia Hotel Basel - the Sustainable 4 Star Hotel ★★★★
"Very good hotel, good breakfast, good service. I like this old-fashioned European style hotel. Swiss hotel management is indeed the best in the world. Worth recommending"
Grand Hotel les Trois Rois ★★★★★
"On the offchance we went to Les Trois Rois in Basel for a break during the visit of some friends and the welcome was outstanding. We were ushered to a wonderful spot in the lounge and ordered coffees/teas (a superb selection) and something sweet to revive us on a wet afternoon. The service was excellent and we all enjoyed this break from the weather outside at a very reasonable cost. Our thanks to everyone."
Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel ★★★
"The location is very close to the old town, a 5-minute walk away. It's also only about a 15-minute walk from the Central Station. The facilities are very new and appear to have been renovated. The customer service was also very helpful."
Movenpick Hotel Basel ★★★★
"The breakfast is really good! Also good options if you are lactose intolerant or can’t eat gluten. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are good. It would be nice to have more hooks or bars in the bathroom to hang towels and bathrobes."

"I was not sent any link to do the online check-in. It was terrible experience because there was no one at the hotel to help."
Pullman Basel Europe
"Pretty good, pretty good. It's very convenient to find places to eat near the hotel, and the gym and other facilities are also very satisfying."
Aparthotel Adagio Basel City
"The location is excellent! The room is clean and tidy! Comfortable hotel"
Basel Marriott Hotel
"Close to the exhibition center. It's about a 5-10 minute tram ride from the train station or city center, which is a convenient distance. The hotel is clean and tidy, with excellent soundproofing. For breakfast, you can order from a menu or simply pick up food and drinks displayed on the restaurant tables. The staff are enthusiastic and the management is very efficient."
Hotel City Inn Basel
"All is fine"
Central City Hotel Rochat
"Quiet location. Nice room. Good breakfast. We get a bit lost in the corridors and the hotel is a bit old but it has its charm and otherwise nothing to complain about."
Hotel Victoria
"The room is spacious and comfortable, located right next to the train station."
Hotel D - Basel - Boutique Hotel
"Hotel D is a charming hotel, perfectly located for exploring the beautiful streets and alleys of Basel's Old Town, as well as for strolling along the Rhine. The welcome is warm, and the room is nicely decorated and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Basel!"
Merian am Rhein
"location is amazing, clean and modern"
Krafft Basel
"The hotel is located by the river, and the room windows overlook the city streets, making it a bit noisy at night. However, the overall environment of the hotel is exquisite and comfortable, and the service is very attentive. My pre-stored luggage was already put in my room when I checked in the afternoon. The breakfast was delicious, and there was complimentary tea and coffee available on each floor. It has the style of an old-fashioned European boutique hotel."
Boutique & Design Hotel Volkshaus Basel
"The old house was renovated. The room is not big, but it has a sense of design and personality. However, there is only a small table, which is not enough for daily necessities. The location is great, and you can walk to Basel's tourist and shopping hotspots."
Motel One Basel
"Best location and great room. Highly recommend"
Art House Basel - Member of Design Hotels
"The room itself is OK, and the location is OK. But because there is no air conditioning, it is still a bit stuffy at night. You can borrow an electric fan from the front desk, a Dyson, but there is no remote control, and it is very noisy at the maximum wind speed. Before booking, I saw that toothbrushes were provided, but they were not. The key point is that when I was looking for toothbrushes, I found two pairs of earplugs! I was very curious why the hotel provided this, and I found it at night. It was so noisy. The upstairs is the hotel's bar and breakfast restaurant. It was either the sound of moving tables and chairs or playing music. What's more terrible is that the bars in the two streets in front and behind the hotel are open, all kinds of noises, music, screaming, yelling... It didn't end at 4:30 in the morning. It was crazy. Except for children, adults could still fall asleep. Taking sleeping pills didn't work. I don't recommend this hotel at all."
Nomad Design & Lifestyle Hotel
"Wonderful tucked away gem in the heart of Basel. Nice thoughtful touches in a a lot of areas. Bar and restaurant on the ground floor are draws in themselves rather than just add-ons to the hotel."
Novotel Basel City
"Facilities: New Cleanliness: Very good Location: Close to the station Service: Good. The lady who came to make up the third bed had a great attitude. The room arrangement was excellent, really deserves praise. Chain hotels are always reliable."
Hotel Spalentor - Ihr Sympathisches Stadthotel
"Excellent hotel, everything is top notch... The room is spacious by Swiss standards. Excellent location. Good breakfast. They give out a Basel card: free travel on public transport and a 50% discount on museums, theaters and almost everything. The most delicious Swiss apples were waiting for us in the room. Water and fruit daily at the reception."
